Family portrait session, Freestone Park -- Wiseman Family

As photographer, I am ussualy asked "can you help us pose?", "what do we do? we have no idea what would work best","we want a family portrait but hate being in front of a camera".  "It is my job to make you feel confortable and make you look your best, don't worry" is my usual response.  Sometimes, I run into a family that is very conformable in front of the camera and feels very much at ease.  Few weeks ago I had a family just like that. The Wiseman family felt very conformable in front of the camera and had a great time during the hour-long session at Freestone Park.  Here are few images from the session.

Outdoor Family Portrait Power Ranch Gilbert, AZ

For most of the year the Arizona weather is ideal for outdoor family portraits. Early morning or late afternoon provide cool weather and great light conditions.  Having your family portrait done outdoors at a location of your choice provides a familiar and comfortable environment that helps create beautiful images in a relaxed atmosphere. Add to that beautiful landscapes such as the surroundings of the Power Ranch community center and you are then set for getting great artwork that will be a priceless addition to your home.

Recently I had the opportunity to work with Scott, Pam and their son to create a series of family portraits.  Below is a small selection of the images that I created.

Newborn Photo Session, Baby Rylie

A couple of weeks ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Eric and Alissa the proud parents of Rylie who was just 6 weeks old.  I met them at their home. I set up the lights and background so we could capture Rylie in a fairly safe and comfortable environment. After the indoor session we went outside and did  natural light family portraits at a  park near their home. The images below are a collection from the session.
