Escape From Cubicle Nation Pam Slim Book Signing at Changing Hands Bookstore

When Pam e-mailed me a month ago to let me know that she was going to be doing a presentation and book signing session at Changing Hands Bookstore,  I was very happy to attend. I admire Pam and have been a fan of her blog for close to two years. I admire her not only because of her wisdom and what she has accomplished; but also because she was a great help to me when I started my business.  Pam provided guidance during the early stages of my business and was key in helping me make the transition from corporate employee to entrepreneur. We have developed a strong relationship and  I have gotten to know her wonderful family. I have had the opportunity to do work for her. Few months ago I did a series of portraits for her book Escape from Cubicle Nation: From Corporate Prisoner to Thriving Entrepreneur and her website. It was a project I was very happy to be part of.

Pamela Slim photo in Business Week

I have photographed Pamela and her family several times and last December I did a series of photos for her new book Escape from Cubicle Nation. Working with Pam has been a great thrill and a wonderful experience.  On Saturday, she pointed out to me that one of the photos I took was used for an article that appeared in Business Week.  I could not believe it.  It is so cool. "Look Mom, I am on Business Week".
