In a recent trip with Friends of Arizona Highways Photo Workshops, I had the opportunity to do a day trip into Yellowstone National Park. Our workshop was based at the Grand Tetons National Park which is 45 miles south of Yellowstone. We had an extra day to help set up. We got done early and took advantage of the available time to drive into Yellowstone. We arrived on June19 and were surprised to find as much snow as we did. It was also interesting to see drastic changes in weather within hours. Below is a collection of images from the day trip. This images were from the bottom loop and Northeast area on the top loop. We started at South entrance and went Northwest towards Old faithful then to the North East Portion of the Park towards Dunraven pass then back towards Lower Falls. We finished at Yellowstone Lake.
