On Monday October 27, I participated in a day-long workshop conducted by Steve Nissle. The class was part of The Professional Photographer of America national education event called Super Monday. Professional photographers throughout the USA shared the expertise with other photographers. Steve shared with us his approach to creating environmental portraits. The class was fast-passed and packed with a great deal of tips. Steve covered many aspects creating a one-of-a-kind portrait. He took us from preparation before the sessions to selecting a location and posing the subject. We had a chance to work with kids, seniors, couples and families. The class was a great learning experience and a terriffic opportunity to share a good time with other fellow photographers. Here are some of the images I captured during the event.
